I am a big believer that when something works, stick with it! That is why I chose to get the Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Neverfull MM bag for Fall. I already own the same tote in Damier Azur and hated to have to put it away once summer was over. And, after using it exclusively from April-August, it still looks like new. (I keep the LV boxes to store the items between seasons to keep from away from dust and getting “squashed” in my closet). The bag is super light weight and easy to carry. I found the MM size to be perfect for everyday use. I can load tons of stuff into it for work, but it is not too big to take everywhere else. Because of the canvas coating, the bag easily wipes clean. I also (again) purchased the Zippy Wallet and I find it too is the perfect size. It holds everything I need and is a great complement to the purse itself. While of course a bag like this is costly, I believe it is totally worth the investment as I will be using these bags for years to come.

Troy Burch Irene Equestrian Boots
I am a huge Tory Burch fan (don’t ask how many pairs of Reva flats I own) so when I was on the look out for some new fall boots, these seemed like the right choice. I ordered the Irene Equestrian Boots in Coconut and they are beautiful! The leather is super soft and I love the rich brown color. A tiny gold “Tory” logo adorns the outside of each boot. The heel is 15mm, which makes it super comfy for all day wear. The boots come to just below my knees and I can tuck my skinny jeans into them with plenty of room. I absolutely will be wearing these boots all season!

Bella Luci Anti-Aging Face Serum
As I am getting older, I am always on the look out for something to slow down the aging process...before it starts. I think I may have found it! I recently purchased Bella Luci Anti-Aging Face Serum and have been using it daily. The serum itself is silky and fluid, almost giving my skin an illuminating quality. It goes on very smooth as you would expect from a serum, but does not look or feel greasy as I have experienced with other products. I will definitely keep using this serum as a part of my regular beauty routine, it seems to be working!!

Ethos Dark Circle and Puffy Eye Serum
I never seemed to notice it before, but have I always had
dark under eye circles?! I had been looking recently for a product to try when
I came across this Ethos product. What drew me to it initially were the
ingredients. I have really sensitive skin and the last thing I want is another
breakout! I have been using the serum for about 5 weeks now, morning and night
and am really impressed with the result.
I even had a coworker ask if I was using new makeup. The product has a
nice light texture and no smell (which I love). I gently dab it on under my
eyes and it dries quickly, so I can put my moisturizer and/or make up on right
over top. The price is really affordable compared to some other products out
there, definitely will be buying again!
Ojon Volume Advance Shampoo & Conditioner
I have long been a fan of Ojon products, but have never
tried the Volume Advance line. While initially I didn’t like the smell of this
formula, it has kinda grown on me. (The Ojon Dry Recovery Line has almost a
vanilla-y scent that I really like. The Volume Advance is more citrus-y) I
really like the result, though. My hair feels light and bouncy, just like a
commercial would claim! I like the volume at the crown most, where I really
have a tough time keeping it from looking flat. The price is a bit high, but
pretty comparable to other products like it. The upside is you do not have to
use much, so a bottle will last quite a while. My only complaint is that I
can’t get Ojon at the beauty supply store I shop at most, so I have to order it online.
Whiter Teeth Whitening Kit
I’ll admit it; I have a fear of the dentist. Always have,
probably always will. Don’t get me wrong, I go to the dentist, I just don’t
like it. So by no means am I willing to go there for “extras”. I saw this
whitening kit online and thought I would give it a try. The kit came with four
syringes (3ml each) of the hydrogen
peroxide whitening solution, a whitening tray, an LED light as well as a shade
guide and instructions. I have used at home whitening strips before which work
well and contain 6.5% hydrogen peroxide. So when I saw this product (which
contains 9% hydrogen peroxide) I was willing to give it a try, hoping for a
quicker result. Once I opened the package, I checked out the shade guide. I was
a 3.5. No bad, but room for improvement! I am a multi-tasker by nature, so I
went ahead and put the solution on the tray and let it go to work while I took
my shower. The tray is soft and flexible so it was relatively comfortable while
in my mouth. After my shower, I brushed my teeth as I would with a “white strip”.
There was no bad taste and my teeth didn’t feel sensitive afterward. I have
used Whiter Teeth for the past two weeks, twice daily and now according to the
shade guide, my teeth are 2! I am happy
with the result and still have a syringe left to try with the LED light.
it’s a 10 miracle leave-in plus KERATIN
Knowing the weather is getting cold/dry and I was out in the
sun a lot over the summer, I wanted to try a leave in product. I purchased it’s
a 10 since I had tried the shampoo before and loved the smell. While this
product does smell nice, that’s about all the nice things I can say about it. I
washed my hair as normal, then after towel drying my hair, sprayed all over and
combed though. That seemed to go ok, but once I tried to style my hair, it was
a disaster. My hair felt greasy and dirt and had no body. I didn’t want to give up that easily, so I
tried again a few days (and washes) later. I thought maybe using less product
might help. Unfortunately, same result.
I won’t be giving this one a 10…..or another try.
